Handy Organization for Car Trips and More

I have been introduced to an in-home shopping company called Thirty-One. This company creates and sells items to help with organization and items to make traveling better for the whole family.

Thirty-One was founded eight years ago by Cindy Monroe, CEO.  The name comes from the Bible verses of Proverbs 31.  As a corporate American worker Cindy writes on her website, www.mythirtyone.com, “I prayed to find a way to offer something that would help women like me contribute to their lives financially by owning their own business. It is from this passionate resolve that Thirty-One was born. I began sewing purses with one machine in the basement of my home in Chattanooga, Tennessee.”  The company now has 40,000 consultants nationwide.

My consultant, Kelly O’Neal, came to my house one evening for a party I hosted with fifteen friends.  We were all educated on the products they sell and the many uses they offer.  I came away from the party with two favorite items (so far) and look forward to utilizing the other items I purchased more and more.

The first item I adore is the Wristlet Wallet ($22). This handy item is great for just running into the store as I don’t have to carry my entire purse in with me and I have all my shopping needs right at my fingertips.  The Wristlet Wallet comes in six patterns, measures 4.5” H X 6.5” W, has a zip around expandable closure, one exterior pocket that Velcro closes (perfect for the cell phone), one interior zipper pocket and four card slot holders. I can fit my debit card, driver’s license, lip gloss and keys in here.  I love the flexibility it gives me when I am shopping.

The second item I appreciate is the Organizing Utility Tote ($25).  This tote is perfect for car trips! Measuring 10.25” H X 15.5” W X 6.5” D this tote allows for ample space to pack the items need to keep kids entertained in the car or grown-ups organized for their travel needs.

For example, utilizing the seven exterior pockets I put a small first aid kit, flashlight and hand sanitizer.  I used the interior of the tote to organize our atlas (yes, I still use this in conjunction with my Tom Tom), some snacks, books and travel itinerary.  For the kids you can load it up with their Nintendo DS, games, coloring books, crayons, snacks and drinks. The Organizing Utility Tote comes in ten different patterns and is hand washable. Oh, and you can personalize it with a monogram or saying of your choice.

So far the usability and durability of the Thirty-One products I purchased have been impressive and make these gadgets top on my must haves for all you travelers out there. Home shopping is just an added bonus.
