Only a year old, The Pearl Hote
l seems as if it has been a part of South Walton's Rosemary Beach
since the community's conception. Seamlessly blending in with its surroundings, the 55-room and suite property, situated on Main Street, adds another level of luxury to the scenic 30-A area.
However, don't confuse the idea of the term "luxury" with "standoffish," "aloof," "out-of-reach," or "snobby," because The Pearl is anything but those descriptions.
Marin Liptrot with 98 Republic, representing St. Joe Club & Resorts
that manages the property, says the essence of the hotel can be summed up with one word: celebration.
"Guests come here to celebrate birthdays or anniversaries, or just the fact they are on vacation. Regardless of the reason, they are here to kick back, relax and spend quality time together."
And that experience/feeling is something that's found throughout the property
"Celebrate" the Stay
Divided into three categories: Gulf view, pool view or town view, the rooms
include everything from a flat-screen HDTV
complete with Apple TV, Direct TV and local cable, complimentary high-speed WiFi, a stocked mini-fridge with waters and juices, and more, including complimentary valet parking. The in-room Apple iPad allows guests to get in touch with guest services for everything from arranging restaurant reservations, room service or reserving bicycles.
It isn’t a true getaway without some indulgence, and with four poolside treatment rooms, Spa Pearl
doesn’t disappoint in this area. Open daily from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., selections at the full-service spa includes body treatments and facials as well as manicure and pedicures.
Not only is The Pearl walking distance to everything at Rosemary Beach, and to beach itself (look for the beach chairs underneath the black and white striped umbrellas), but complimentary access is extended to guests at both the tennis facilities and fitness center at The Beach Club at WaterSound.
For golfers, they can book at tee-time at such courses as the Shark’s Tooth Golf Club
and Camp Creek Golf Club
For many, the culinary experience while vacationing is second only to the destination itself. In addition the restaurants at Rosemary Beach, The Pearl adds Havana Beach Bar and Grill
and Sol Luna
to the mix.
Havana Beach Bar and Grill exudes a Cuban-like feel in its decor and atmosphere. The restaurant, serving both brunch and dinner daily, features such dishes as Gulf Fish ’n Chips (dinner), Bacon Sampler Platter (dinner), Havana BLT (brunch), and Big Ol’ Waffle (brunch). Be sure to save plenty of room for sweet creations like Beachside S’Mores (brunch and dinner), Chocolate Dessert Flight (dinner) or assorted ice creams from Marianna, Fla.-based Southern Craft Creamery
(brunch and dinner).
With views of the Gulf, Sol Luna is a great place to unwind any time of the day. Enjoy the scenery as well as the food, like wood-burning pizzas and small plates, at the lounge.
Don’t forget to check out The Pearl’s packages, allowing guests the opportunity super-charge their big or small “celebrations.”
