It’s being referred to as the world’s biggest beach rally and you can be a part of it on Saturday, November 6.
The VISIT FLORIDA’s Great Beach Walk
is everyone’s chance to show the world how beautiful and great the state’s 825 miles
of beaches are.
“We wanted to do something really fun to showcase our beaches,” says Kenneth Morgan, public relations manager, VISIT FLORIDA. “There’s still lingering doubt following the oil spill this summer, and some people may still have misperceptions about the harm done. The Beach Walk is a transparent way to show that the beaches are fine.”
Visitors along the beaches are encouraged to take photos along their walk and share them.
“Our goal is to celebrate the beaches.”
And Don’t Forget
This weekend is a great time to be at the Florida beaches. From the Panhandle to the south, there’s is a lot going on.
