  • Escape to Eagle Island , Ga., an 10-acre island  located in southern Georgia's salt marsh, where coastal tides provide waters deep enough for the quick boat trip from historic Darien.   • The recently-renovated Westin Hilton Head Island (S.C.) Resort & Spa offers two packages valid through the holidays until February 2014 that provide savings of more than 40 percent. The Discovery Adventure, features the option to kayak, zip line, cruise, or bike and the Rejuvenation Vacation offers yoga and a bucket list of resort relaxation activities to choose from such as a massage, round of golf, tennis, one day biking adventure, ocean view cabana, etc.

  • Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa in Young Harris, Ga., offers a Heaven On Earth Spa package. Suitable for a spa lover and their guest, it features a day at the Equani Spa. The package includes a traditional sleeping room, three selected spa services per guest (double occupancy) including service charge. Spa Services covered: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage,  Simply Sugar Medi-Pedi and Skin Resonance or Down to Earth Facial, and two breakfast vouchers. The package starts at $687 per night. Upgraded rooms featuring a balcony or fireplace if available are $30 additional.

  • For an unique escape, treat someone special (or yourself) to Main Street Hotel in Yazoo City, Miss. Located on the second floor of several buildings in the historic downtown, each room or suite is uniquely decorated in a perfect blend of antique and modern.  Bathrooms with claw-foot tubs and full showers, full kitchens and washer/dryer in the suites, and flat-screen televisions all help to ensure the ultimate in comfort and convenience.

  • Let you giftee be one of the first to enjoy Streamsong Resort in Streamsong, Fla.   • Opening on December 18, Epicurean Hotel is holding their grand opening weekend celebration on January 17-19, 2014. There are two special packages created specifically for the weekend. The Connoisseurs of Life Package ($2,000 for two people) includes accommodations for Friday and Saturday nights, private welcome reception with chef/author Norman Van Aken, Friday evening grand awakening reception (showcasing the entire hotel), Saturday evening six-course winemakers dinner (featuring executive chef Chad Johnson), a choice of Élevage brunches inspired by champagne and Bloody Mary’s and a selection of up to three activities, including wine and culinary classes presented by industry experts and celebrities.
